“That this Committee request the Chief Executive to provide public lighting, as soon as possible, along the pathway between Cherrywood Road and the Cherrywood development. It is noted that this path is used extensively by commuters to/from the bus routes on the N11 and to/from the LUAS stations in Cherrywood.”

“That this Area Committee agrees to write to Irish Water about the odour and noise emanating from the Shanganagh Waste Water Treatment Plant (SWWTP) which is impacting on the residents of the Bayview estate, Killiney and further seeks a meeting between representatives of Irish Water, SWWTP, members of the Bayview Residents' Association as a matter of urgency and that this letter is sent by the Council immediately and prior to the agreement of the minutes of this meeting.”

“That this Area Committee recognise the associated difficulties of the underpass and area around it on Churchview Road in Ballybrack and agree to a location meeting with the Chief Executive and Local Electoral Area Councillors with the intention of potentially extinguishing the underpass as a right of way and/or possibly using it for other community alternatives and that a report be brought back to this Area Committee outlining the options that could be taken to reduce antisocial behaviour including measures that would be needed to increase pedestrian safety.

“That the Chief Executive would re-examine the junction between the Cherrywood Luas stop and the entrance into Druid Valley because local residents are fearful of a fatality or serious accident taking place at this location between motorists, pedestrians and/or cyclists due to the configuration of these lights, the turning movements allowed for vehicles here and the number of pedestrians using this junction particularly during peak hours and will the Chief Executive compile a safety report for same.”

“That the Chief Executive have the Traffic Advisory Group (TAG) re-examine the decision not to remove a small section of the Double Yellow Lines from outside of (address supplied) St Fintan's Villas given the fact that this house is a relatively new build and that the Double Yellow Lines pre-date the house being built and the fact that they cover the entrance to the driveway of the new house and restrict the residents ability to park at this location”
